Chicken with a less-offending name, and still no crack.

I’ve noticed a disturbing trend on internet recipe blogs that I’ve bit my tongue for far too long about exposing. You see, I have a bit of a pet peeve when it comes to food labels and accuracy, and it has come to my attention that the Crack Chicken or Keto Crack Chicken recipe that is circulating has no crack in it! Personally, when I read this, I absolutely couldn’t believe it. I thought that I had finally found the perfect recipe for me… that I could finally get my lean protein on and simultaneously have a rockin’ good time. But no, what this recipe is, plain and simple, is a chicken dish that features a creamy sauce laden with cheddar, cream cheese, and bacon. I found a few variations of the recipe that guaranteed it would be impossible to stop eating, but low and behold, it was possible, and guess what, friends? No crack.

But I figured this could all be some weird mistake, maybe I cooked it wrong. So I tried again. Second time, no crack. At this point, I was beginning to feel that a terrible injustice had been done to me. I mean, I know that American cheese is not exactly what it seems and that there are more additives in my fruit snacks that fruit, but that’s what I expect from processed food.
